Kessekes African Drumming Workshop

Kesseke Yeo drumming and story workshop will be held at our usual time at Britannia (7:30pm, Dec. 10th). If you own a hand drum, you are incourages to bring it down. And if you play a horn, you are still HIGHLY encouraged to come. The basic plan is:

  1. Kesseke tells us the story of the djembe
  2. Kesseke couple basic West Afica drum patterns and breaks
  3. We all pick up our horn’s(if you’re a horn play) and work one of Kesseke’s beats on to one of our pieces: possible tunes are Afro Blue, Scrachy Poco, Swayze the Cat
