The Carnival Band’s weekly rehearsals are indoors at the seniors centre at Britannia Community Centre. The address is 1661 Napier Street in Vancouver. We meet every Monday at 7pm-9pm. Bring just about any instrument you can carry, and get ready for a good time. No auditions. All are welcome.

Oct 31, 2025: A small but meaningful group of carnies will accompany some East Side Family Place tots for a costume parade at Grandview Park.

Carnival band workshops for winter 2022 are, starting September 18, Mondays at 7-9pm indoors in the seniors centre at Britannia.

Carnival band workshops for summer 2023 are Mondays at 7-9pm at the šxʷqʷeləwən ct Carving Centre at Britannia Center.

Carnival band workshops for winter 2022 are Mondays at 7-9pm beside the seniors centre at Britannia.

Carnival Band Workshops for summer 2021 are Saturdays at 2pm-4pm at Britannia Community Centre. We will be in the outdoor covered plaza south of the elementary school, between the elementary school and the field.

In order to accommodate multiple factors, we are shifting outdoor rehearsals at Britannia school field to 6:30-8:30 in August and 6:00-8:00 in September.

All Vancouver community centres will be closed for the coming weeks, so Carnival Band and Greenhorn are cancelled for the time being.
