The Poverty Olympics


Come on down to the DTES to make some noise, tie up traffic and celebrate the Poverty Olympics. The march will end up at the Japanese Hall, 475 Alexander St.

In The Clouds

The band headed into the clouds on Mt. Seymour to help James and his colleagues at Jibset Sailing Club promote sailing to the hardy skiers who braved the less than ideal skiing conditions.

No Proroguing


Earlier this afternoon a large and exuberant crowd assembled at the VAG and proceeded to march to Victory Square in protest. Across Canada citizen groups have gathered to send a strong message to the Stephen Harper government, Canadians are vehemently opposed to the arbitrary suspension of parliament as a political ploy.
