This year the band was adopted by Raincity Housing to play in the parade.
The band was accompanied by the Txi’s colourful and very athletic Umbrella Odyssey
Illuminaries 2010
This could be the first time the Carnival Band has taken the show to a DTES alley.
This year Public Dreams brought Illuminaries to W2, the old/new Woodward’s site. The event included indoor and outdoor performances.

Sunset at Sunrise
The band’s last gig of this year’s Dancing On The Edge Festival took place in the rooftop parking lot of Sunrise Market on the Downtown Eastside. The band played and folks of all ages danced until dark.

Dusk Dances In QE Park
The Carnival Band is pleased to be opening for Dusk Dances during it’s four day run. The band plays a 30 minute set nightly through Saturday, July 17 at the duck pond.
Dusk Dances is one venue in the much larger 22nd Annual Dancing On The Edge Festival.
